It introduces the basic knowledge about the usage of past simple 2, time expressions; vocabulary about relationships, spelling and silent letters; reading about three inventions; speaking about famous inventions; writing about a friend
II. Aims:

Understanding the vocabulary about relationships, spelling and silent letters
Reading about three inventions.
Enhancing writing skill: writing about a friend.

Then compare their answers with their partners

Ask Ss to work in groups and make some more incorrect sentences about the texts and then ask other groups to make them negative and give correct answers
