II AIMS:

 To help students describe a city and compare with another cities

 To help students know how to state their preferences and explain the reason

III TARGET LANGUAGE/ SKILLS:

 Language: present and practice some vocabulary items concerning cities and use the comparative structures.

 Skills: get students to practice speaking skill for describing the scene of the city and compare with another cities.

IV ASSUMED KNOWLEDGE:

 Students have finished reading text

 Students have learnt some vocabulary concerning the city

V ANTICIPATED PROBLEM:

 Students may have problems with grammar

 The class will be noisy

 There may not have enough time to practice

VI SOLUTION:

 Simplify the instruction

 Manage class’s working time

VII TEACHING AIDS: pictures, board, chalk, textbook, handouts

VIII PROCEDURE: The pre stage, the while stage and the post stage.
