LESSON 1- ( PART 1-2-3)

I.AIMS

1 Knowledge: By the end of this unit pupils can

- Use the words and phrases related to the topics future plan Ask and answer questions about what someone would like to be in the future, using What would

you like to be in the future? I’d like to be a/an

Sentence Pattners: What would you like to be in the future? I’d like to be a/an

- Vocabulary: pilot, writer, architect, patient, astronaut,

2 Skills: Develop Ss speaking and reading skills.

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their

hometown, family and friends

II.TEACHING AIDS

1 Teacher’s: English book , lesson plan, word cards, CD, cassette soft book

2 Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III.TEACHING METHODS

-Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually)

Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by having the class retell the

story The Fox and the Crow in Unit 14, Lesson 3, Activity 3 Then get them to talk

about their future jobs

- Tell the class that they are going to read a story

about what Tony wants to do in the future

- Have them look at the pictures and elicit their

for them to do choral repetition line by line Then

have them practise in groups: one sings the

questions and the other sings the answers

- Invite two groups of four pupils to go to the

front to sing and do actions and the class to clap

their hands along to the rhythm
