I OBJECTIVES:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: Develop reading skill (practice T/F or find information)

- Know many things about Malaysia

II TEACHING AIDS: Text book, teacher’s note, picture.

III PROCEDURES:

1 Review: Calls 2 Ss to play the role (introduce themselves).

2 Warm up: Guessing game

- What country is it?

3 Presentation:

a) Pre reading:

- Introduces about Malaysia & asks Ss to look at the map:

+ Do you know Malaysia?

+ Where is the capital?

- Gives the words:

Office religion (n) separate (v) comprise (v) Tropical climate (n) compulsory (adj)

- Read the words

b) While reading:

- Ss read & fill in the table with the right information about Malaysia (in groups)

- Ss write on board or read

* Keys: 1/ 329,758 2/ over 22 milion 3/ tropical climate

4/ the ringgit 5/ Kuala Lumpur 6/ Islam

- T asks Ss read the text carefully & answer the questions:

- Explains & Ss work in groups:

* Answer keys: 1.T

c) Post reading:

- T gives the questions about VN

1 Warm up: Find someone who

2 Presentation: Lesson 4: Write

a) Pre - writing:

- T introduces the situation & explains the aims of exercise

- Asks some questions:

+ Which places did you visit?

+ What kinds of food did you eat?

+ What did you busy?

b) While - writing:

- Ss read outline, T explains & gives the examples, the using of tense

- Ss write & discuss

- Calls 2 Ss to write the letter on the board

- T corrects:

* Suggested ideals:

* First paragraph:

- I arrived at Da Nang train station at 8 am

* Third paragraph:

- I feel so happy/glad & enjoy myself so much The people here are very nice & friendly, the foods are delicious, and the sights are so beautiful I will leave

c) Post - writing:

- Ss write a similar letter
