LESSON 3- ( PART 4-5-6 ) I.AIMS

1 Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to

- Read and tick, write about Sports Day

- Develop Ss writing skills

- Develop Ss writing and reading skills

3.Attitude: -In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their

1 Teacher’s: English book , lesson plan, pictures, word cards, CD, cassette ,

softbook

III.TEACHING METHODS

-Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually)

Remind them to focus on the text and the words

- Set a time limit for pupils to do the task

independently Monitor the activity and offer

help, if necessary

- Get pupils to compare their answers in pairs

before checking as a class if there is enough time,

have the class read the completed answer aloud

Activity 5: Write about Sports Day (10')

Individual work Ask Ss to fill in the space with

the appropriate information before copying into a

clean sheet of paper for the class display followed

later

- Set the time for Ss to write independently

- Monitor the activity and offer help as necessary

- Call out some Ss to read their writing to the

class and have the class display after that

Answer: 1,on Saturday 2

- Get a few Ss to read aloud their writing to the

class Finally, have a class display of Ss’ works

Activity 6: Project (6')

Draw three sports and talk about them

- Tell Ss that they are going to draw 3 sports and

then talk about them

- Get Ss to prepare necesseary school things to

carry out the project ( paper, pens, colured

pencils, crayons )

- T move around to give the help if neccessary

- Call several individuals to the front of the class

to present their pictures For example; It is+

(sport) I like playing It is very exciting

- Have Ss stick their pictures on the wall of the

classroom and choose the best five - Call several

individuals to the front of the class to present their

result

Activity 7: Colour the stars (4')

Tell Ss that in this section they are going to check

their knowledge which they have learned from

unit 10 following 4 basic skills: speaking,

listening, reading and writing skills.

Then they give point as 3 stars for 3 levels,

colour the stars those appropriate with their own

knowledge

- Make sure they understand the activity

- Set the time for Ss to do the task

- T move around to give the help if neccessary

- Remark all or some students according to the

stars they get, praise the ones in progressive

Get them to compare their answers before

checking as a class Give explanations for the

recording again to confirm the correct answer.
