Lesson 3 (1, 2, 3)

I Aims.

1 Knowledge.

- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to practice pronounce the 2

sounds of the letter /ch/ and /wh/in the words chair and where respectively

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading.

3 Attitude.

- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends

- Educate Ss how to locate things in their rooms or houses reasonably

II Teaching aids:

T: Teachers’ book, cards , poster cassette and tape.

Ss: Student book, notebooks

III Teaching method: MAT, TPA.

IV Procedure

1 Organization.(1’)

2.Warm up ( 4’)

- Ask Ss sing a song " The poster and the ball"

- Comment

- Lead in the new lesson: Unit 13- Lesson 3(1.2.3)

3 New lesson ( 30’ )

* Activity 1 (10’)

- T: Have Ss open the book page 22 draw

their attention to the letters colored

differently in the words chair and where

Produce the sound of the letter ch and wh

- T:Have Ss repeat the focused sounds a

few times

- Ss: listen and repeat

- Ss: work individually

- T:Play the recording twice and ask Ss to

repeat
