1 Look, listen and repeat.

- T tell ps that they are going to look a story in which ps ask and answer questions about activities happening in the classroom

- Ask Ps to open their book on page 60 and look at the pictures

- Have them look at the pictures to understand

the context in which the language is used Ask

them questions such as: Who are they? Where are they? What are they saying?TOm and Linda are standing near the door of the classroom and are talking In the Picture B and c, Linda talks about what pupils at the red, blue and yellow tables are doing , and Tom asks if they are having an Art lesson.

- Let them look at the bubbles to understand how to ask and answer questions about what people are doing using what are they doing ? They’re……

Ask ps to identify the names of the four

- Point to the first picture and model the task with one pupil, using the sentences in the bubbles and the phrase under the

- Ask Ps to practise in pairs, one asking the question and the other giving the answer, using the prompt in the bubbles and pictures

- Tell Ps that they are going to practise saying

the sounds of the lettes sk and xt in the word mask and text respectively.

- First, put the letters sk and xt on the board Play

the recording and ask Ps to repeat a few time

Then put the word mask and text on the board,

play the recording and ask Ps to repeat a few

more times After that, write the sentences He’s

making a mask and She’s reading a text on the

board Play the recording a few more times and

let Ps say the sentences , paying attention to the target sounds

- Do choral and individual repetition of the sounds, words and sentences until Ps feel confident

- Get some Ps to perform in front of the class

- Tell Ps that they are going to write a short paragraph to describe what the ps are doing in their Art lesson, using the picture and word cues

- Have them look at the given words and guess what they are going to write Then ask them to look at the picture and find out what the teacher, the girls and the boys are doing

- Have ps work in pairs or groups to discuss what they are going to write

- Give ps time to do the task independently

- Get Ps to swap their answers before checking as

make notes, eg: mum- cooking, kitchen, dad-reading, living room, sister- learning English, living room.

- Get some ps to do a demonstration in front of the class as an example before starting the activity
