Lesson: GETTING STARTED & LISTEN AND READ

I- Aims and objectives:

* Language content:

- To introduce some new words relating to the activities and life of the countryside

- To introduce life and activities in the countryside

* Language function:

- Describing about the countryside, talking about the life, the activities in the countryside

- To help the Ss know the structures: Wish sentences, preposition of time

* Educational aim:

- To educate in the sts the love for the countryside

1- Language:

a- Vocabulary: (n) home village, bamboo forest, banyan tree, shrine, riverbank

b- Structures: Modal could with WISH

Prepositions of time: on, at, after, in

2- Skills: Integrated skills.

3- Educational factor: Loving the sights of the country

1- Method: Communicative approach.

2- Techniques: Explanation, translation, using pictures, groupwork, pairwork, chatting, what

and where, lucky numbers, ask and answer, T-F statements

3- Materials needed: Textbook, pictures, cassette player, flashcards
