- Practice speaking and listening.

II Objectives:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to review the structures of asking for favors and offering assistance - responding to favors and assistance

* Cue drill: Gives some cards about cue drill and

explain

- Calls some students to say:

Can you help me ……… ?May I help you?

Or Can you show me the way to ……… ?

1 Carry this suitcase, please! (Certainly, I’ll help you

2 Buy a plane ticket.(certainly/ sure/ …)

3 A nearby shopping (Turn left at the first corner)

4 A nearest restaurant (go straight about 300 m)

5 Sweep my floor.(OK/ no problem/ …)

- Gives feedbacks and leads to the new lesson

I Pre-speaking: * Vocabulary:

– Ask for a favor (v) : yêu cầu sự giúp đỡ – Offer assistance (v): đề nghị trợ giúp, hỗ trợ

– Respond (v) = answer: phản đáp lại – Certainly (adv) chắc chắn rồi

- Introduces Ss and then, asks them to copy down the following phrases

• Pre - teach

• Open prediction

- Ss predict the missing words to fill in the song (13 gaps) T collects Ss' prediction

II While - listening :
