+ Introduce some sports

+ Speak and write some sports that they play

II PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetle

III PROCEDURES:

1/ Warm-up: (8’)

- Hang on some pictures, and ask Ss:

What are they doing? - Observe, and answer the questions

2/ Presentation: (10’)

- Use the pictures to elicit some new words

I Vocabulary:

1 play badminton (v)

2 play table tennis (v)

3 do aerobics (v)

4 skip (v)

5 jog (v)

- Check vocabulary: “What and Where”

- Listen, guess meaning, then practice

- Do as directed

3/ Practice: (15’)

Activity 1:

- Have Ss listen to the tape twice

- Correct their pronunciations and give some questions

II Comprehension questions.

- Ask Ss to write down some activities they see (no

pictures)

- Have Ss listen and repeat B1

I Listen and repeat:

What do you do in your free time?

- Ask Ss to write down the answer

- Replace “I” by “Phuong, Ly, …”, and ask Ss to make

question and answer
