I Warm- up

Greeting :T greets Ss : Hello I’m Duong

Help Ss reply : Hello, Mrs Duong

Do in few minutes with the whole class

II Look, listen and repeat

-Get Ss to open the book page 6 and look at the picture Help them to

identify the teacher and the pupils Tell they are going to look at the dialogue and listen to the dialogue between Miss Hien and the pupils

.-T turns on the tape – Ss listen and point to the appropriate line in the book.Listen again and repeat (3 times )

-T writes the sentences on the board:

Miss Hien: Good morning, boys and girls

Pupils: Good morning Miss Hien

T: call some pairs to read the dialogues before class

Ss read individually and do the task- T monitors and helps

Have Ss trade their answers in pairs

Call on some volunteers to report the answers- the others listen and

comment

Announce the answers to the class Provide explanations when necessary

III Let’s play: Bingo

Ask pupils to open their books on page 9 Tell pupils that they are going to play the Bingo game
