1 Warm up: Asks Ss about Maryam - a friend of Lan
Eg: What do you know about Maryam?
Where is she from?
2 Speaking:
a) Pre - speaking:
- Introduces the situation: Nga and Maryam haven’t met each other before but they kown they will meet each other while waiting for Lan outside her school
- T asks Ss: what would you say if you were Nga or Maryam?
S1: Hello, my name’s Nga Are you Maryam?
S2: Hello, my name’s Nga What’s your name?
S3: Hi, I’m Nga What’s your name?
- Asks Ss read in silent the dialogue and match in correct order
- Some pairs do model in front of the class
* Notes Ss the way to use “must”.(you must be Maryam)
- Gives answer keys:
b) While - speaking:
- Ss practice in pairs, make a similar D, may be 1 or 2 or3 characters
- Calls 1 or 2 pairs do model

- Gives pictures & discuss them

b) While - listening:
- Give Ss to listen the tape two or three times
- SS listen them individual
- Ss compare together
- Listen & choose the number of correct pictures
- Ss compare together
- Ss answer

c) Post - listening:
- Ss summarize the content with the questions:

- Ss discuss and make some questions
