- Divide Pps into groups Tell them that you will show them the words in which all the letters have got mixed up The groups have to put the letters in the correct order to make a word The group that makes the correct word gets a point
- On the board, write one of the new words from the lesson in a jumbled order; eg s a a n j p e e If you wanr to give more support, write the first and last letter on the board to give them a clue; eg j _ _ _ _ _ _ e
- Ask Pps to sort out the letter to make a word in their group When they are ready, put up their hands or write it on a large sheet of paper and hold it up
