I Objectives

1 Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson Ss can read, listen and understand a short story

2 Skill:

- Practice listening, speaking skill

3 Attitude:

- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary

- Student’s book, recording, fresh cards, posters

III Methods:

- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work,group work

- Some techniques can be used: Slap the board, survey

2 New lesson:

Activity 1 Read and listen to the story (15’)

- T asks Ss to open their book on page 38

- T tells Ss that they are going to read and listen

to the story

- Ss listen to the tape

- T plays the CD for Ss listen and read aloud

- Ss read aloud

- T monitors and correct their mistake.

Futher practice:

- T asks Ss to practice answer the following

question:

1 What’s the name of the white mouse?

2 What’s the name of the white cat?

3 What’s the name of the black cat?

Activity 2 Complete the coversation(15’)

- T asks Ss to open their book on page 38

- T tells Ss that they are going to read the text

and fill the gaps

- T gives time to do the text

- T introduces the topic “you are going to read

the story and unscramble these words

- T asks Ss to put the correct letters to make

- Give ss time to do the task

- T calls some pairs to read aloud the question

and answer

3 Work in group of three Read the conversation Then act it out with your own names.
