INTRODUCTION THE WAY TO LEARN WELL

I OBJECTIVES:

1 Knowledge.

- By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to know How to prepare a new lesson, How

to learn & check the previous lesson, How to learn English well and use the allocation in their study (at school + at home) and basic classroom language.

2 Skills Know the way of using other language

- Educate ss love their lesson

III PROCEDURE :

- Introduce the content of the programme:

“English 4” has 4 books ( Two student books and one work book)

• Each student book has 10 units After 5 units has a review.

• Each unit has 3 lessons

• Each lesson has 4- 5 parts

• Prepare for the academic year.

- Greet and respond to greetings formally.

II LANGUAGE FOCUS:

1 Teacher’s: Recording, handmade puppets, flashcards or photographs of pupils.

IV PROCEDURE:

1 Warm up:

- Say hello to the class and introduce yourself,

using Hello, I’m + name.

2.New lesson:

1 Look, listen and repeat:

- Elicit some new words if have and ask pupils

to guess in English or Vietnamese:

+ meet + sorry + greet

- Use photos on the student book and ask Ss the

names of the characters, to present the situation

and explain that they are going to hear Mai and

Nam greet each other.

- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to

listen 2 times.

- Play the recording sentence by sentence for Ss

to repeat.

- Ask some pairs to play the role and repeat at

the front the class.

- Correct mistakes if have.

- Elicit and present new structures:
