HISTORY

In 1897, while looking for a place to built a French resort in Indochina, Governor Paul Doumer sent a letter to Alexandre Yersin suggesting Upon receiving a letter from Paul Doumer, Alexandre Yersin suggested choosing the Lam Vien Plateau, a land full of conditions suit to the conditions: suitable elevation, the area is large, secure water, temperate climate

In March 1899, Paul Doumer along with Alexandre Yersin personally refers to the practice environment in the Lam Vien Plateau During the war years, the city still played the role of a resort and education science center of the Republic

of Vietnam But since 1964, when the Vietnam War entered a fierce period, urban development was less respected, with the emergence of buildings for military use Since the late 1980s, the early 1990s, the city has grown back with

a wave of tourists looking to the east and infrastructure continues to build On March 23, 2009 Dalat authorities became an urban suburb of Lam Dong province

If you are looking a place to relax, you should to go to Dalat The climate is very comfortable Vietnam is a country has a tropical monsoon climate so it is quite hot, but Dalat is higher than 1500 meters sea so it has a cool climate The average temperature in Dalat is no more than 20°C I think it’s very comfortable and I love it

Don’t worry Dalat is tourist attraction that visitors don’t have to spend much money but you will not miss the exciting experience And if you can, let bring a lot of money and hire high-end services or take gifts in

Maybe you should be careful when you cross the street because there are don’t have any traffic lights And when you buy something at Dalat Market, let haggle because maybe you have to pay double or more for that

Finally, Do not forget bring warm clothes maybe you will cold when you hang out

”Dalat’s roof ” If you go to Dalat, don’t miss it When you looking down the top of the mountain, everything look really small

This is one of the most romantic scenic scenery in Dalat, about 5

km north of the city center The valley is popular with couples and have nice scene

And there are also have many other interesting tourist attractions

LOCAL FOOD AND DRINK

You should go to Strawberry Garden You can eat fresh strawberry there It’s very different with strawberry in super market

Bake food with brick and tile You will use a piece of tile to bake on a charcoal stove to sweep up a layer of cooking oil to grill meat without sticking

At night, you will not want to miss the căn cake Although not he place of origin but this cake is very delicious and attracts many visitors
