II, Objectives : By the end of the lesson , students will be able to know more about Hoa – Lan – Nien and to review simple presnt and simple past tense

1, Warm up:
- Ask ss to look at 4 pictures and takl about the activities they want to do after school or in their free time
- Give some questions : +, What are these students doing ?
+, What time of the day do you think it is ? +, Do you like soccer / reading books ?
+Whom do you like playing with ?
2, Presentation :

- Set the scene by asking ss some questions about Hoa :
+ Do you remember Hoa ? + Where’s she from ? + Who does she live with now ? -Have ss look at the picture in books and say :’’ This is Hoa, and that’s Nien – her friend Now Hoa’s in Ha noi but Nien is in Hue Now listen to the dialogue between Hoa and Lan They are talking about Nien
