I/ OBJECTIVES.

1/ Educational aim.

Ss should keep their body clean and healthy

2/ Teaching aim.

By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to name some parts of the body

II/ PREPARATIONS.

Textbook, tape, cassette, pictures, chalk

III/ PROCEDURES.

1/ WARM – UP (5’).

- Ask ss to name some parts of the body and the

numbers of them

- Introduce new lesson – learning some parts of the

body

2/ PRESENTATION (15’).

* Activity 1.

- Hang the picture of a person on the board

- Point at the parts of the body playing the tape

- Play the tape again and present new words

+ shoulder (n)

- Name some parts of the body

- Listen to teacher

- Look at the picture

- Listen and observe

- Take notes

* Activity 2.

- Let ss play game “rub out and remember”

- Have ss do exercise A2 in pairs with the picture on

the board

- Call some ss to points at the parts of the body and

ask the whole class

4/ PRODUCTION (11’).

- Have ss play “guessing game” with cues given

2 They are at the end of your legs?

3 It is between your arms

- Repeat some parts of the body

- Listen and repeat

- Play game

- Answer questions

II/ PREPARATIONS.

Tape, cassette, chalk, pictures, chalk

III/ PROCEDURES.

1/ WARM – UP (5’).

- Have ss play game “slap the board” with some

words given

- Have ss look at the pictures of some people and

comment on their figures (A3)

- Introduce new lesson

- Request ss to look at the people in the pictures (A3)

and comment

-Tell ss to learn by heart new words and structures

- Make 2 dialogues about Job and figures of two

people

- Work in groups Ex: I’m short Hoa is tall and thin Ex:

- Work in pairs
