I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

• Know more about solar energy by listening

• Make and respond to suggestions

V Procedure:

1 Warm up (7 minutes)

- Divide the class into 2 teams, each team has 5

students

- Show the 1st student in each a sent

+ The 1st student whispers the whole sent To

the 2nd student in her/ his line

+ The 2nd student whispers to the 3rd and so on

+ The last student shouts out the sentence

+ If it the same as the sentence teacher shows,

that team wins the match

- Play the game in two teams of five students

2 Pre – listening (8 minutes)

- Explain :everything which is connected with

the sun:

+ picture

+ translation

+ translation

- Checking vocabulary

- Ask Ss to look at the statements on p.60 (4a)

and work in pairs and guess which sentences

are true which ones are false

- Set a scene to lead in the lesson: We are going

- Have Ss listen to the tape then write down the
