1 Warm up (7 minutes)

2 Presentations (10 minutes)

- Teach grammar points:

–ed and –ing participles:

a –ing participles (active meaning)

Ex: The boy is Ba He is reading a book.

-> The boy reading a book is Ba.

b –ed participles (passive meaning)

Ex: The old lamp is five dollars It is made in China.

-> The old lamp made in China is five dollars.

I –ed and –ing participles:

a –ing participles (active meaning)

Ex: The boy is Ba He is reading a book.

-> The boy reading a book is Ba.

b –ed participles (passive meaning)

Ex: The old lamp is five dollars It is made in China.

-> The old lamp made in China is five dollars

- Do the exercise 1 in pairs.

- Answer.

3 Practice (15 minutes)

- Look at the people in the schoolyard at Quang Trung School

Say who each person is.

- Look at the pictures in exercise 1 and tell the name of each

person.
