Trang 5About the Author
Dimitris Tavlikos discovered that computer programming was a passion during his school days He knew this was what he wanted to do ever since he participated in a course for a few hours a week and learned how to write simple console programs on monochrome monitors While working as a programmer for a major IT company in Greece, he stumbled upon the quite promising and new language at the time, named C# When MonoTouch was released, providing NET developers with the ability to create software for the iOS platform, he was overwhelmed by the potential it offered
With almost 10 years of professional programming experience with NET and Mono, he now works as a freelance C# and MonoTouch software developer and offers his expertise to various projects for companies around the world
In his spare time, he enjoys blogging about his "adventures" in coding
(http://software.tavlikos.com) and tries to fill his camera's memory cards
