Using Universal Mounting System (UMS) (Using EIA

STEP 1:
Assemble the UMS brackets bysliding the two halves all the waytogether Repeat for all brackets
STEP 2:
Secure UMS Backboard to rack.Install two top screws first, thenhang the backboard and installremaining screws
STEP 3:
Secure UMS Brackets tobackboard per diagrams for thedesired layout printed on thebackboard Use provided rivets
to attach
STEP 4:
Secure included jumper ringsusing rivets provided or installseparate large jumper ring as-sembly using screws provided

Assemble the UMS brackets by
sliding the two halves all the way
together Repeat for all brackets
STEP 3:
Using interlocking tabs, secure nextbracket or wire manager, and se-cure with four screws Continueuntil all brackets and wire manag-ers are secured

STEP 4:
Route cables from above orbelow mounting bracket andsecure as required

To gain access to the inside of theMulimedia Box, squeeze the lockingtabs together (see Figure 2) and pull
up and back to remove the cover
Remove knockout, if desired:
The access hole in the back of theMultimedia Box provides ample cableaccess when the box is mounted to astandard wall box If the box is to bemounted to a solid surface and at-tached to a raceway, one or more of theside knockouts may have to be re-moved
To remove a knockout:
Select the appropriate size and tion to match your raceway Using autility knife, cut down the scored area
loca-as far loca-as possible on both sides of theknockout Bend the knockout back andforth on the bottom score until it
breaks free (see Figure 3)

Surface Mounting:
The Multimedia Box may be mounted
to any flat surface using screwsthrough any of the holes provided.Figure 4 shows mounting holes
Wall Box Mounting:
The Multimedia Box may be mounted
to either a single-gang or dual-gangstandard NEMA wall box using the #6-
32 screws supplied
Although typically mounted vertically,the Multimedia Box may be mounted
in a horizontal position, if desired
European Box Mounting:
Optionally, the Multimedia Box may bemounted to 80mm, 84mm or 88mmEuropean wall boxes
Optional Mounting with Magnets:
Optional magnets may be ordered tomount the Multimedia Box to a metalsurface Insert the magnets as shown
in Figure 5

Add Selected Bezel:
Each of the openings at the front of theMultimedia Box will accept one of thenumerous styles of bezels
The bezels are designed so they canonly be inserted one way into theopening, providing maximum adher-ence to the minimum bend radius.Note: Copper cables must be termi-nated to individual jacks and the jacksinserted into the bezel before the bezel

Introduction
KRONE’s 4 Port All-Fit Box accepts a
wide range of snap in jacks, or connector
modules (KRONE's Lead Frame In-Line
jack is not compatible), and is suited for
installation in any type of office
environ-ment: modular furniture, surface mount,
or wall box
Box Installation
1 To install the box in a modular
furni-ture opening, insert the mounting
slides by squeezing the vertical posts
and inserting the foot through
open-ing at the end of each track Squeeze

Jack Installation
1 Position the modular connector withthe catch toward the bottom of thebox, and the nose of the connectorpointing down Insert the catch intothe “U” shaped opening, while slidingthe connector forward until the trail-ing edge of the jack snaps in behindthe retaining wall (see Figure 3)
