To gain access to the inside of theMulimedia Box, squeeze the lockingtabs together (see Figure 2) and pull

up and back to remove the cover

Remove knockout, if desired:

The access hole in the back of theMultimedia Box provides ample cableaccess when the box is mounted to astandard wall box If the box is to bemounted to a solid surface and at-tached to a raceway, one or more of theside knockouts may have to be re-moved

To remove a knockout:

Select the appropriate size and tion to match your raceway Using autility knife, cut down the scored area

loca-as far loca-as possible on both sides of theknockout Bend the knockout back andforth on the bottom score until it

breaks free (see Figure 3)

Surface Mounting:

The Multimedia Box may be mounted

to any flat surface using screwsthrough any of the holes provided.Figure 4 shows mounting holes

Wall Box Mounting:

The Multimedia Box may be mounted

to either a single-gang or dual-gangstandard NEMA wall box using the #6-

32 screws supplied

Although typically mounted vertically, the Multimedia Box may be mounted

in a horizontal position, if desired

European Box Mounting:

Optionally, the Multimedia Box may bemounted to 80mm, 84mm or 88mmEuropean wall boxes

Optional Mounting with Magnets:

Optional magnets may be ordered tomount the Multimedia Box to a metalsurface Insert the magnets as shown

of the Multimedia Box meets the TIA/EIA-568-A specifications for fiberstorage

Add Selected Bezel:

Each of the openings at the front of theMultimedia Box will accept one of thenumerous styles of bezels

The bezels are designed so they canonly be inserted one way into theopening, providing maximum adher-ence to the minimum bend radius.Note: Copper cables must be termi-nated to individual jacks and the jacksinserted into the bezel before the bezel

is inserted in the opening

Introduction

KRONE’s 4 Port All-Fit Box accepts a

wide range of snap in jacks, or connector

modules (KRONE's Lead Frame In-Line

jack is not compatible), and is suited for

installation in any type of office

environ-ment: modular furniture, surface mount,

or wall box

Box Installation

1 To install the box in a modular

furni-ture opening, insert the mounting

slides by squeezing the vertical posts

and inserting the foot through

open-ing at the end of each track Squeeze

on the

with screws through the two standardmounting holes

Jack Installation

1 Position the modular connector withthe catch toward the bottom of thebox, and the nose of the connectorpointing down Insert the catch intothe “U” shaped opening, while slidingthe connector forward until the trail-ing edge of the jack snaps in behindthe retaining wall (see Figure 3)

2 Cable entrance is provided via anopening in the base, as well as knock-outs on the sides of the cover andbase These knockouts also exceptseveral sizes of raceway Follow thejack instructions for proper termina-

tion Be sure to pull cable through base before terminating jacks.
