Aims: To give the students some more new words and a structure of asking and answering about the

price of thing(s)

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to use the structure “How much is/ are

+ N?”

Skills: speaking, reading, writing

Teaching aids: book, poster.

Languages:

Grammar: How much is a fried-rice? – It’s…./ They are….

Vocabulary: fried rice, cake, ice-cream, canteen, bowl, thousand.

1 Pre-teach vocabulary :

- Fried rice [fraid rais](n) : cơm chiên

- A cake [keik](n): bánh ngọt

- An ice-cream ['ais'kri:m](n): kem

- A canteen [kn'ti:n: căn tin

- A bowl [boul](n): cái chén Tô

- Thousand ['θauz(ə)nd](n): ngàn
