1 LISTEN AND REPEAT - 2 LISTEN AND CIRCLE

3 LET’S CHANT (P1)

Objectives :

- At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to know how to pronounce the consonants fl and pl correctly

- Skills: listening, speaking

- Attitude: Students pay their attentions to listen and circle

II Teaching aids:

- Student’s book, recording, fresh cards, posters, puppets

IV Procedures:

A Warm up and Review (5’): Action game

- Involve Ss in the game

- Ask one Ss to go to the bb and read the secret

cards then act it out

- The whole class guess the right words then T

continues as many times as possible

- Link to the new lesson

New lesson:

1.Listen and repeat(10’):

- Ask about the colored letters

- Write and introduce the sound: /fl/ and /pl/

- Produce the sounds in a few times Ask Ss to

repeat in a few times

- Teach these words in the sentence

- Say: Look part 1 and play CD to 2 times

- Play CD and ask to repeat 2 times

- Call a model student

- Give time for group work to do and practice

- Plays the recording for Ss to get familiarized

with the pronunciation the stress, the rhythm and

the intonation of the chant

- Plays the recording and asks Ss to repeat the

- Plays the recording once more for Ss to repeat
