* Knowledge

By the end of the lesson, Sts will be able to practice with : This / That and Wh -question with “What ” to talk about people and things at school

* Skills: Listening, speaking, writing and reading

* Attitude: Ss love school's objects and take care them carefully

*Check the old lesson:

- T: Call pupils to go to the black board and write new words

III New lesson: (35')

1: Presentation ( 10’)

+ Pre-teach: Vocab

Using pictures on P.28 and real

things for eliciting New Vocabulary

- T reads / Ss read after the teacher

-Ss read Vocab chorally then

individually

=> Checking Vocabulary: Matching

+ Dialogue Build

1.Vocabulary

- door(n): cửa ra vào

- window(n): cửa sổ

- board(n): bảng

- waste basket(n): sọt rác

- school bag(n): cặp sách

- pencil(n): bút chì

- pen(n): bút mực

- ruler(n): thước kẻ

- Elicit the dialogue from the

+ Then work in pairs to ask and

answer with the rest of words

2.Activity 2: Practice (15’)

- Put the wordsquare on the board

and inform the topic “Things in the

classroom”

- Divide the class into 2 tams

- Ask Ss to find out hidden words

and circle the words they have

found

- Team A uses yellow chalk and

team B uses red chalk

- The team that finds out more

correct words wins the game

- Praise the winner

3.Activity 3: Further Practice ( 10’)

- Divide the class into 2 teams A-B

- T tells Ss the rule of the game:

Each team has right to choose a

number If the number they choose

is unlucky , they have to answer a

question They will get 2 marks if

their answer is right

If the number they choose is lucky,

they will get 2 marks and have right

to choose another number

_ The team that gets more marks

will win the game

- Praise the winner
