IV PROCEDURE:

I Warm up:(5’)

- Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson

by inviting some pairs to act out the story in Activity

1 in front of the class

a Pre-listening:

- T looks at the books and sets the scence:

- Tell Ps that they are going to listen and circle a,b or

- Ask them to read the information and try to guess

the word to fill each gap

- Play the recording all the way through for Ps to

listen and circle Play it again for them to do the task

- Get them to compare their answers before checking

as a class

- Play the recording again to confirm the answers

- Tell the class that they are going to play Labelling

foods and drinks in the food pyramid and then tell the

groups and discuss the names of the foods and drinks

Remind them to takes notes for their report to the

class

- Invite a pupil from each group to tell the class what

a heathy diet is

- If there is not enough time, give the activity as

recording and ask Ps to repeat a few more times

Play the recording a few more times and let Ps say the

sentences , paying attention to sentences with falling

intonation

- Do choral and individual repetition of the sentences

stress until Ps feel confident

- Get some Ps to perform in front of the class Check

as a class and correct the pronunciation, if necessary
