V Procedure
1 Warm up:
Give flashcards 76-81 to different children Ask them to stand up, one at a time They show their card for the class to shout out the word
2 Development:
Exercise 1: Ask children to number the pictures and check with the class
Exercise 2: Students look at the furniture and write the sentences Ask them to check in pairs, and then elicit the sentences and write them on the board
PMB Activity: Give a PMB worksheet to each child and ask them to draw four different rooms in the house, drawing the furniture in each Then put them in small groups to show their pictures and point to the different rooms and name them
3 Consolidation:
- My house flashcards 76-81
Pronunciation: Use the flashcards to elicit the vocabulary again for revision, and then focus carefully on different sounds which may be difficult for the
children (e.g /ch/ in kitchen and /th/ in bathroom)
Trang 2Extension: Draw a large box on the board and draw a bed in the box Then ask
the students what room it is (a bedroom) Ask individual children to come up and
draw the rest of the furniture in the room Then draw another box and put in a
shower Ask children what room it is (a bathroom) Again, children can take turns
coming up and completing the picture The rest of the children can suggest what should be drawn next
