- Tell pairs A to write a letter of invitation based on the situation given in Task c, p42 ( you may want to give them

a certain place and time to make it consistent in all letters, e.g “ on Saturday next week, at your house, at 7 pm.”

- Tell pairs B to write a letter of reply, accepting the invitation

- Tell pairs C to write a letter of reply, refusing the invitation
