International Stan ard coverin the additional fu ction(s) , nor the RCD fu ction an

c aracteristic ( his is the purp se of an RCD International Stan ard) It is l mited to c ec in

that the additional f un tion(s) do not imp ir an f un tion of the RCD in case there is no

International Stan ard f or the ad itional f un tion(s) for hou ehold an simiar u es Where

This TR may also b u ed to draf t ad itional req irements to stan ard for ad itional

f un tion(s) inten ed to b combined with RCDs for hou ehold an simiar a pl cation

This TR provides a proced re b sed on an as es ment in order to identify the neces ary

testin to demon trate compl an e with the a pro riate req irements If the as es ment of the

ad itional fu ction integrated in the RCDs con lu es that the ad itional f un tion do s not

imp ir the RCD, no ad itional test is req ired by this TR

Where more than one ad itional f un tion(s) can b simultane u ly as ociated with one or

several RCD(s), the p s ible combination is c ec ed by con iderin the most severe ones

This TR do s not a ply:

– to ad itional f un tion covered by a stan ard whic expl citly ad res es the combination

with RCDs for hou ehold an simi ar a pl cation ;
