Cách cải thiện giọng nói Tiếng Anh của bản

1 Nghe và đọc theo

Mình thường tìm một đoạn văn từ 5-10 câu đi kèm với audio, nghe họ đọc trước rùi đọc theo họ từng câu và cả đoạn Nếu có thể thì hãy đánh dấu, gạch chân hoặc bôi đậm vào những chỗ họ ngắt nghỉ, đưa giọng lên xuống Cách này sẽ giúp chúng mình làm quen với việc “nhả chữ” để nói sao cho tự nhiên nhất

2 Luyện cùng TONGUE TWISTER

Đây là một cách tuyệt vời để cải thiện phát âm và sự lưu loát Với những câu tongue twister, bạn hãy cố tập nói nhanh nhất có thể, hoặc đúng nhất và ít vấp nhất Hãy bắt đầu bằng việc nói chậm và dần dần tăng tốc độ lên Cho đến khi nói mượt rồi, thì bạn thử nói liên tục 2-3 lần để nâng độ khó của thử thách, rồi đố nhóm bạn thử cùng xem sao

Chỉ cần 20 phút đọc, xem, nghe mỗi ngày thôi nhưng đảm bảo là cải thiện được nhiều lắm luôn Một trong những cách để nói

Tiếng Anh tự nhiên hơn đó chính là việc chúng ta có sẵn vốn kiến thức Không những thế việc xem các show truyền hình

cũng giúp chúng ta học được cách nói chuyện từ các MC, người nổi tiếng Một số nguồn mọi người có thể tham khảo:

* TED TALKS: Bạn nên chọn speaker nào là người bản xứ để nghe cho chuẩn Video TED rất đa dạng về nội dung và lĩnh

vực, bạn có thể chọn video phù hợp với hứng thú của mình

Mình chọn TED TALKS vì bên cạnh những giọng nói hay của diễn giả, cách họ truyền tải thông điệp và kỹ năng thuyết trình cũng thú vị và rất đáng học hỏi nữa Hầu như video nào cũng được cập nhật phụ đề tiếng Anh đầy đủ

* Các bạn chỉ cần lên YouTube và gõ tên người nổi tiếng +

4 Tự nói chuyện 1 mình

Chọn 1 từ vựng ngẫu nhiên và nói đủ thứ về từ đó, nếu vấp thì chọn từ khác và cứ thế nói cho đến bao giờ gặp 1 từ mà mình có thể nói đủ thứ về nó Mọi người lên mạng và tra "Random

Word Generator" để ra 1 trang web giúp chúng mình chọn 1 từ

bất kỳ Hoặc hãy thử liệt kê ra một list câu chuyện bạn có thể kể

về chính mình, chẳng hạn:

- Công việc của bạn

- Sở thích của bạn

- Điểm yếu của bạn

- Kỷ niệm đáng nhớ nhất ở trường

- Món ăn yêu thích nhất

Cách này có thể giải quyết được những vấn đề sau của người gặp khó khăn khi nói tiếng Anh: thiếu ý tưởng, thiếu từ vựng để diễn đạt ý tưởng, thiếu cơ hội để nói, thiếu động lực thúc đẩy để nói

Và cuối cùng thì chúng ta cứ luyện tập rồi mắc lỗi rồi luyện tập rồi lại mắc lỗi Và hãy mừng vì điều đó, bởi đó là biểu hiện của

sự tiếp tục phát triển và tiến bộ Mỗi lần mắc một lỗi là một lần học để ghi nhớ lỗi, phân tích lý do mắc lỗi, khắc phục lỗi và tiếp tục ghi nhớ, để lần sau không mắc phải nữa

The arm of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is probably the most famous icon of the USA It was built to celebrate the end of slavery, and later

became a symbol for freedom among immigrants The statue

depicts Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty And

the torch she carries high above her outstretched arm represents

a light that guides people along the path to freedom

Interestingly, however, Liberty looks different from the way the designer first intended

The idea for the statue came from a poet, Édouard de

Laboulaye When the American Civil war ended, he wanted to

commemorate the end of the slave trade with a gift He and

other people who opposed slavery raised money and hired

a sculptor, Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi, to design the statue

Bartholdi later employed the French engineer, Gustave Eiffel,

to devise its structure Eiffel, who would subsequently build the

famous tower in Paris, was already a well-known designer of railway bridges So he knew how to build robust structures that

are flexible and safe in strong winds This feature was necessary

because the winds in New York harbor are extremely strong Today, the top of her torch swings over 15cm when the wind is blowing at 50 miles per hour

Eiffel designed the statue to be built around a massive

metal skeleton, similar to the Eiffel tower Huge pieces of

copper were fixed onto this to form its shape Until recently, two copies of the plans were believed to exist But recently, a third copy was discovered, which revealed some interesting

information In 2018, a map dealer bought some historic papers

at an auction in Paris, which included original plans,

calculations, and drawings of the statue At first, the documents

were too fragile to read But after special treatment, the papers

clearly showed that Eiffel’s plans had been changed by

Bartholdi with red ink Liberty’s arm, which was thick and

vertical in Eiffel’s drawing, was adjusted to be slimmer, less upright, and generally more attractive than Eiffels’ design

The changes in the plans are dated July 28, 1882, after the

construction of the tower had begun We don’t know what Eiffel thought of Bartholdi’s changes By then, Eiffel was working on

other projects, and only his assistants were working with

Bartholdi in New York Maybe Bartholdi thought he could make the changes because Eiffel was not there and would not

complain

However, the changes made the arm not only

more attractive but also weaker, which has created problems

over the years At first, visitors could climb a ladder to the torch

in Liberty’s arm, but in 1916, there was an explosion on a

nearby island It damaged the statue and made it unsafe, and the stairway to the torch has been closed ever since

During restoration work in the 1980s, engineers noticed that the

structure inside Liberty’s head, shoulders, and arm were

different from how they were shown on Eiffel’s plans They

thought that the builders had made mistakes, but some historians believed that Bartholdi had changed Eiffel’s design The newly discovered papers confirm those theories
