( Using the pictures they have learnt about
the countryside )

river bank, home village, bamboo forest, fresh

- Remark and lead in the new lesson

2/ Pre - reading : (12’)
- Introduce “Today we will study about the life
on a farm of an American family.”
- Have Ss work in pairs and guess about the
differences between life on American farms
and Vietnamese ones, using the suggested
questions :
1 What trees / vegetables do farmers in
America grow?
2 What animals do they raise?
3 What do they usually eat?
- Call on some pairs to demonstrate their ideas
- Introduce: “In order to understand the lesson
better, I will help you some words.”

1 Result:
- Kết quả có tiến bộ hơn so với bài KSCL đầu năm, tuy nhiên vẫn còn một số em còn chưa học bài, chưa nắm được một số kiến thức cơ bản
- Số lượng học sinh đạt điểm khá giỏi chưa cao, đa số chỉ mới đạt ở điểm trung bình, vẫn còn một số em có điểm kém
- Kĩ năng viết lại câu và trả lời câu hỏi còn chưa tốt

2 Evaluation of test:
- Phần phát âm một số em vẫn chưa phân biệt được cách phát âm khác nhau giữa các từ
- Phần trắc nghiệm: đa số các em đã nắm được dạng bài tập này, tuy nhiên một số học sinh cũng chỉ làm đươc 3- 4 câu
- Bài đọc hiểu: kĩ năng đọc hiểu trả lời câu hỏi của các em vẫn chưa tốt, vẫn có học sinh chưa trả lời được câu hỏi nào
- Bài viết lại câu: chưa nhiều học sinh làm tốt phần này, nhiều em chưa nắm được hình thức của một bài văn tranh luận
3 Evaluation of teaching and learning:
- Cần tăng cường cho các em làm bài tập luyện viết, và phát triển kỹ năng đọc hiểu
- Tăng cường hơn việc kiểm tra bài cũ
- Các em vẫn chưa có ý thức tự giác trong học tập, chưa cố gắng trong việc học bài và làm bài ở nhà, khả năng tư duy và nhớ bài vẫn chưa tốt
