I OBJECTIVES:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to write about the benefits of internet in daily life

III PROCEDURE:

1/ Warm up : (7’)

- Let Ss play game “bingo” about the

benefits of the Internet in 2 groups

“Bingo”

Chatting, getting information, education,

communication, entertainment

- Play game

2/ Pre-writing: (15’)

Activity 1:

- Ask questions to remind of writing

argument

1 How many parts are there in an

argument? What are they?

2 What languages we use in

Introduction/Series of argument/Conclusion?

Activity 2:

- Have students read the cues (p.44,write),

ask questions to check their understanding:

A What can you say about the development

of the Internet?

B Why is the Internet a sourse of

information?

C Can you say the Internet is a source of

entertainment ? Why?

D,Is the Internet also a means of education?

- Answer the questions

I think the Internet is very useful for our life nowadays It has increasingly developed and become part of our everyday life

Firstly, the Internet is useful for us as a source of information For example, we can read newspapers, articles, and check the weather forecast on the Internet Secondly, the Internet is very convenient for us to entertain ourselves We can listen to music, watch movies or play games on the Internet

Thirdly, the Internet is also a good means of education We can attend on– line school, on–line classes on the Internet

In conclusion, the Internet is extremly useful We can use the Internet to serve for our life in the right way

in unit 5 such as Tag-questions and gerunds after some verbs
