LESSON 2: a FRIENDS (a4, a5)

- Give different greetings to people of different age

- Develop their listening skill

Textbook, cassette tape, pictures

III PROCEDURES:

1 WARM – UP: (5’)

- Ask students to read the text about Hoa

- Ask questions

2 PRE –LISTENING: (5’)

- Ask students to look at the words in the box

- Explain the words in the box

+ How is everything?

+ Just fine

+ Pretty good

3 WHILE –LISTENING: (15’)

- Ask students to look at the open-dialogues

(4a,b)

- Have students listen and fill in the gaps

- Call students to read the answers

- Supply the correct answers

a/ How are you? – Pretty good – How about

you? – Not bad – Me, too.

b/ How is everything? – OK – How are you

today? – Just fine – So am I

- Call some pairs to practice the dialogues

- Ask students to look at the pictures

- Ask questions
