I AIMS

1 Knowledge

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- To consolidate the sound of the letters Nn, Oo, Pp and Qq and the corresponding words

- Learn and practice reading skills

Vocabulary : Revision

Nut, net, nest, nose

Olive, orange, octopus, omelette

Pen, panda, parrot,pony

Question, queen, quuilt, quiz

2 Skills: Listening-reading-speaking-writing

3 Attitude: Educate Sts to love their lesson and work hard.

*(Requirements: students with disability can see and say right words)

1 Organization: (2mins)

- Greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon How are you?

- Checking for the students’ attendence

2 Warm up:(5mins)

* Slap the board

- T explains how to play this game

- T lets Ss play together and correct their mistake

Activity 3.Write the beginning letter(6mins)

- Copy the box from the book to the board

- Tell the students that you are going to write the

letter Nn into the box

- Demonstrate the writing

- Put Phonics cards of a net, olive, pony, question

- Draw 4 small square boxes underneath them on the

board

- Ask the students which one goes with right letter

- Tell the students that they are going to write the

letter in the boxes the correct picture that

corresponds to the

- Ask sts with disability write the right letter in the

boxes in book

Activity 4:Colour.Use the key(7mins)

- Ask the students to take out their colour pencils/

crayons

- Name some colours and ask the students to repeat

The first student point to the pictures and the other

student say the word then change the roles

- Ask the students to colour in the pictures of the

words that start with the
