Một số trạng từ chỉ sự thường xuyên:
- always: luôn luôn/ usually: thường thường/ frequently: thường xuyên/ often: thường thường, thường xuyên/ sometimes: (= occasionally) thỉnh thoảng, đôi khi/ seldom
(=scarely) hiếm khi, ít khi/ rarely: hiếm khi, ít khi/ never: không bao giờ
-Adverbs of frequency: thường đứng ở:
+ Sau động từ “BE”
Ex: They are always on time
It is never cold in the summer
+ Trước động từ thường
Ex: They often go swimming in the summer
+ Sau trợ động từ (don’t, doesn’t, will, must, can, could,etc)
We don’t usually go to the movies together
People should always brush their teeth after meals
Do you often go to the gym?
+ Những trạng từ: every week/month, twice a month, every two days/ weeks, once a week/ month, twice a week/ month, three times a week/ month, etc thường đúng cuối câu
