Lesson 3: listen A.Objectives:

1 Aims:

- Practice listening to check T/ F statements.

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to listen for specific information about

Nga's learning English

- Vocabulary: work for, improve, terrible, internationl bank

- The tense: past simple, present perfect

2 Practice skill:

- practice listening skill and writing skill

3 Attitude:

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice listening

- Book, tape & cassette, poster …

- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work

+Information transmitting

- Divide class into 2 teams, choose 5 volunteers from each team to stand in 2 lines

- T show 1st ss in each line a sentence

- He/ she whispers the sentence to the next person in his/ her line The 2nd

whispers to the 3rd……

- The last ss shouts out the sentence, if it’s the same as the sentence T show - > win

- T praises the winner

+Sentences: 1.I like learning English It’s very interesting

2 I want to improve my listening skill

3.Learning English is useful

1 Aims:

-Read the text for details about the English classes from the advertisements -By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to get the information about the English classes from the advertisements

+ Standard knowledge: Read the text for details about English classes.

+ Advanced knowledge: read and fill the information in the table, survey about

English classes

+ Vocabulary: well-qualified, beginner/intermediate/advanced, improve, offer, supply,

+ The tense: simple present tense
