1 Warm up: Ss play the Slap the Board game, using month

words

Ask Ss to open their book on page 20

Tell Ss that they are going to read a story in which pupils ask and answer questions about their weekly activities

Give them a few seconds to look at pictures and read the text Get them to identify the characters and setting of the conversation by asking Who’s this? Where are they? What does Nam do on Fridays? What does Quan do on Saturdays? (Nam and Quan are in school canteen)

Play the recording for Ss to listen and repeat the chant, paying special attention to the pronunciation

of the focused sounds

Divide the class into five groups Ask each G to say one line of Clap hands to get the rhythms

If time allows, ask a few pairs to role-play the conversation
