We need extra water, in case the plain surface is too dry so that it can get adequate adhesion

Based on technical data of Jotun Exterior Putty and Jotun Internal Putty, the drying time of them is different one recoated after 8 hours and another is 24 hours So please separate

The standard drying duration is indicated on technical data sheet However, its time depends on the condition on humidity & windy The other words, inside areas there are times to get higher humility and less ventilation than outside one, in this case, the drying time should be adjusted by crafts mas’ perception on each job’s detail

5.2 Description of working sequence

5.2.1 External Mock up painting

1) Surface must be dried To ensure moisture substance not exceeding 20%

 Checking with Moisture Meter

2) To remove foreign and unstable matters such as dirt powder, cement splashes and other contaminants

 Manual cleaning by chipping, scrapping or wire brushing

4) Surface must be free from algae of fungus growth

 Fungicidal washing

5) Use Jotun Exterior Putty to apply as plastering

 Jotun Exterior Putty

6) Mix 1 bag of Jotun Exterior Putty with 16 litres of water

 By volume

7) Use a mixer if available or adequate mixing equipment to mix for 5

minutes until homogeneous

 By drill mixer or pump mixer

8) Allow the mixtures to stand for about 10 minutes then mix again until homogenous Ready plaster should be used within 2 hours after mixing.

9) To apply Jotun Exterior Putty on the ceiling and walls surface for 1st

coat
