do you want? đều là các câu dùng đểhỏi ngời đối thoại muốn gì.Tuy nhiên

“What would you like?” Thờng dùngtrong các tình huống lịc sự khi cácnhân viên phục vụ hỏi khách hàng haychủ nhà nói với khách

Còn với câu “What do you want ?”

ng-ời hỏi đoán đợc rằng ngng-ời đối thoại

đang thực sự cần hay muốn gì và thờngdùng trong các tình huống thân mậthơn chẳng hạn nh bạn bè hay ngời thânvới nhau

Để mời ai dùng món gì dùng:

Note :Dạng đầy đủ của “I’d” là I would-Phân biệt “ Do you like…?(Bạn muốn dùng/ ăn? Dùng đểhỏi một thói quen lâu ngày “wouldyou like…?(Bạn muốn dùng/ ăn?” dùng để mời một món ănhay thức uống ngay lúc nói

-Do you like tea?( banj có thích tràkhông?) hàm ý “ bạn có thờng thíchuống trà không?”

-Would you like some tea?( Bạn muốnuống trà không?)

-What about you ? dùng để tránh lặplại câ hỏi trớc đó là what would youlike?
