1- Đặc điểm chung

* Đối với học sinh hệ A (các lớp 12A2, 12A3, 12A11)

a Thuận lợi: Hầu hết các em đều ngoan ngoãn, chăm chỉ trong học tập, ý thức được việc học tiếng Anh, giáo viên chủ

nhiệm thường xuyên theo dõi lớp và nắm bắt tình học tập qua giáo viên bộ môn Học sinh chuẩn bị bài vở đầy đủ trước khi đến lớp Trong quá trình học tập học sinh năng nổ phát biểu xây dựng bài góp phần cùng giáo viên bộ môn hoàn thành bài giảng đúng giờ Các em biết tự xác định đây là một môn học đã được thông báo trước cho thi Tốt nghiệp và theo các em trong suốt quá trình học tập và công tác sau này

b Khó khăn: Mặc dù các em có chăm chỉ nhưng cũng còn có rất nhiều em yêúù tiếng Anh bởi vì khi tuyển sinh đầu vào

các em không thi bộ môn này nên hầu hết các em đều bỏ trắng không chịu học; học sinh lớp 12 chuẩn bị thi đại học cho nên việc học lệch là không thể tránh khỏi Chính điều này đã gây không ít khó khăn cho giáo viên đứng lớp

Yêu cầu của tiếng Anh lớp 12 thì nhiều nhưng trình độ tiếp thu của học sinh quá thấp

* Đối với học sinh hệ B (12A15, 12A20)

Khó khăn: Hầu hết học sinh sống rải rác ở địa bàn nông thôn Trình độ tiếp thu chậm Điều kiện kinh tế còn thấp, học

sinh ngoài giờ học còn phải phụ giúp gia đình, ít giành thời gian đầu tư cho việc học Ngoại ngư Trong khi đó đặc điểm của bộ môn yêu cầu học sinh cần siêng năng, thường xuyên ôn bài, học từ vựng … Học sinh đến lớp ít thuộc bài, ít trao đổi, ít chịu tham gia hoạt động thảo luận nhóm Lớp học thì đông trong khi chất lượng đầu vào của học sinh quá thấp

III/ BIỆN PHÁP NÂNG CAO CHẤT LƯỢNG HỌC SINH

1- Về phía giáo viên

+ Giáo viên luôn luôn xác định trách nhiệm, nghĩa vụ của mình là: Chịu trách nhiệm đối với những học sinh yếu, kém, học sinh không thuộc bài, làm bài tập Luôn luôn nhiệt tình trong việc dìu dắt học sinh Bồi dưỡng học sinh giỏi, phụ đạo học sinh yếu theo qui định của nhà trường

+ Tự tìm tòi, nghiên cứu, học hỏi, nghe đài, xem truyền hình để nâng cao trình độ chuyên môn

+ Trước khi lên lớp phải soạn giáo án, soạn đề cương ôn tập , kể cả việc bồi dưỡng học sinh giỏi hoặc yếu, kém Chuẩn bị tốt đồ dùng dạy học trong điều kiện cho phép

+ Trao đổi cùng đồng nghiệp, bạn bè rút khinh nghiệm và học hỏi thêm từ nhiều phía

+ Đối với học sinh yếu kém thường xuyên nhắc nhở, an ủi, kiểm tra bài cũ, động viên, khích lệ, gây nhiều hứng thú cho học sinh ham học bộ môn mình đang dạy Tạo mọi điều kiện thuận lợi nhất để các em học tốt bộ môn này Không trù dập, không cưỡng ép hoặc gợi ý học sinh … để tổ chức dạy thêm thu tiền trái qui định

+ Đối với học sinh giỏi, cần tổ chức bồi dưỡng cho những học sinh có năng khiếu Cho học sinh làm nhiều dạng bài tập , khơi dậy tính sáng tạo chủ động của học sinh, gây nhiều hứng thú để các em phát triển tài năng của mình Giáo viên cần xác định đó là trách nhiệm, nghĩa vụ của mình

+ Thường xuyên tổ chức họp nhóm chuyên môn để lấy ý kiến từ mọi phía

+ Tổ chức các hoạt động ngoại khóa, nói chuyện chuyên đềø để phục vụ cho việc dạy và học đạt kết qủa cao hơn

+ Tranh thủ sự quan tâm của nhà trường, của Sơ, phối hợp với chuyên viên, chuyên gia khai thác các loại hình hoạt động dạy và học , phục vụ đắc lực cho công tác chuyên môn

+ Tham gia thi giáo viên dạy giỏi cấp trường, cấp tỉnh Tổ chức các hoạt động dự giờ, thao giảng để đóng góp ý kiến cho đồng nghiệp

2 - Về phía học sinh:

Hoàn thành mọi yêu cầu mà giáo viên đặt ra: sách vở đầy đủ, đặc biệt là sổ tư liệu ghi chép cẩn thận những cấu trúc câu hay, những điểm cần lưu ý mà giáo viên yêu cầu, học thuộc bài và làm tất cả các bài tập mà giáo viên đưa ra
