Period 1: GIỚI THIỆU VÀ HƯỚNG DẪN MÔN HỌC

A.AIMS: -To introduce about English book 6 and the way to learn well.

-To teach Ss some methods and new languages using in the class

to request, to greet and to communicate

B.PROCEDURES:

1 Introducing about new English book 6

- It contains 16 units = 16 main topics

-Each topic devides many small sections

- Each lesson is taught from one to two periods

- One lesson is taught following these steps

* Grammar lesson

- Introduce lesson

- Introduce new languge or new topic

- Practice

- Further practice

* Skill lesson

- Pre

- While

- Post

* T´s instruction

- Ask Ss to look through all book

- Make some questions

1 How many units are there in the book?

2 Where is the vocabulary part?

3 How many language focus parts?

- Ask Ss to look at the book and answer

2 Introducing the way to learn

- T’s instruction

+ Ask Ss to give some methods to learn

+ Learn by heart vocabulary

+ Have to practice to read and write

+ Remember the meanings

+ Use the new words to make sentences and speak to your friends

+ Practice 4 skills:

- Listening

- Speaking

- Reading

- Writing

+Be self confident to practice speaking and listening

+ Not to be afraid of making mistakes

+ Practice speaking as much as possible

+ Do exercises

-Try your best to do exercises to practice new form and vocabulary perfectly

- Do extra exercises in work book in Bo tro nang cao book to develop your knowleage

- Learn by heart the form by doing more exercises

- If you don´t know or understand anything you can ask for advice from your teacher or your friends
