A Warm up

- Ask Ss to list the items relate to the following things:

+ Paper: paper, old newspaper, books, card board boxes

+ Glass: bottles, glasses, jars

+ Plastic: plastic bags, plastic bottles

+ Vegetable matter: friutpeels, vegetables

+ Fabric: clothes, pieces of material

+ Leather; shoes, sandals, school bags

-Ask Ss to read the things they list

- Write down and read them in chorus

B Pre – listening

- Ask Ss to answer the questions:

a Have you ever seen a compost heap?

b Do you know how to make compost?

Ask Ss to work in pairs to discuss about to make a compost heap

- Introduce some new words:

- Introduce the listening and ask Ss to listen to the tape to choose the correct answer
