Period 98 : Preparation date : 4/3/2011 Unit 12: Lesson : Hobbies -listening

I Aims :

- By the end of the lesson, the students are able to listen for specific

information

- By the end of the lesson, the students are able to learn more about hobbies

II Lexical items :

- gain weight - muscle

- efficient - dislike

III Structures :

- I like lying on the sofa and listening to music

-I dislike working far from home

-Nothing is better than going cycling in the countryside on weekends

IV Teaching aids:

Games: word square’

- Put SS into groups of 4

- give each group a copy of the task( Appendix 1)

- Ask SS to find in the work square as directed using the clues given

- Allow SS 4 minutes to do task

- As the time is up , get

- Ask SS to grade their friends’ work.(Tell SS to award a point for each correct word)
