Week 29 Period 57 – WRITE

I Objectives

- By the end of the lesson , Sts will be able to write a story about the tyohoon, using the words given and the pictures

1 Language contents:

a.Vocab : keep + ving , shelter

b Grammar: The past tens,

1/ Techniques: Brainstorming , pairwork, groupwork, chatting

2/ Teaching aids: text book, poster,flashcards

H ave Ss work in 2 groups

2 Pre – writing(20ms)

Pre – teach newwords

T: explan the words by some menthods

- review the structure

It was a beautiful day The sun was shining and the sky was blue The weather was perfect Lan was playing outside with her dog , Skippy All of a sudden , the dog behaved strangely She kept running around in circles Lan ran home with her dog to tell her mother what Skippy was doing Lan’s mother – Mrs Quyen told Lan that she heard on TV that there was a typhoon

coming Mrs Quyen gathered her family and told them to find a shelter in the home Suddenly the sky became very dark The Storm came with

strong wind and heavy rain

Mrs Quyen and her family were scared but soon

a clever dog Skippy is ! She saved Lan from being caught in the typhoon
