1 Scope

This InternationalStand rd specifies the main characteristic of two ty pes( A andB) of con ections used

for checking response times and pres ure lev els for compres ed -air braking eq uipment fit ed on roa

v ehicles

This InternationalStand rd also specifies the open sp ce req uirements that shal sur ou d the pres ure

test con ection and the protection ag ainst cor osion

5 Open spa ce around the pr s ur test connection

The pres ure test con ections shal be easi y ac es ible so that there is no d ng er of kin ing the con ecting

pipe when con ecting the mating p rt and no risk of injury to the inspector when making use of the

pres ure test con ections

6 Protection ag ainst cor osion

The pres ure test con ections shal be protected ag ainst cor osion and shal resist the salt spra test

specified in ISO3 6 for at least9 h
