5.1 Fle xometer

5.1.1 General des ription

The es ential p rt of the a p ratus ar shown in Figur 1

The t es pie e is plac d betwe n anvis fac d with a the mal insulating mat erial The t op anvi is

conne t ed t o an adjus a le e c ntric usual y driven at an osci lation rat e of 3 Hz ± 0,2 Hz

An anvi is sometimes caled a “ plat e” However, do not confuse “anvi ” with the plat e desc ibed in

Clause 7

Figur 2 shows a heating chambe The t es pie e (7) with the sup orting anvis is locat ed in the

the rang e 40 °C t o 1 0 °C The chambe shal ha e the folowing dimensions:

— width 1 0 mm t o 2 0 mm;

— depth 1 0mm t o 2 0 mm;

— height a pro imat ely 2 0 mm

anvis A length of at leas 1 0mm of the the mocouple wir shal be within the chambe

9 Proc edure

9.1 Preparation of fle ometer

4,45mm ar t o be used, the displac ment of the lowe anvi should be maintained within the t ole anc

spe ified for it height a o e the lo ding leve

When the heating chambe is t o be used, plac the t es pie e in the chambe on the grid shelf an
