a performance at the Thăng Long Water Puppet Theatre yesterday It was amazing!
It wasn’t an ordinary theatre Its stage was a giant swimming pool! When the performance started, a dragon appeared and moved across the water Then the puppets appeared, moving and dancing
on the surface of the water while the band was playing traditional music We watched a Vietnamese folk tale and legend, the “Lê Lợi’s Magic Sword” This form of entertainment goes back thousands of years and it is quite popular
in northern Vietnam It’s also a way to keep Vietnamese traditions alive
