B SPEAKING

I Objectives

1 Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Use structure: find + sb/smth + adj

prefer sth to sth

- Know more about vocabulary to describe films and attitudes.

2 Skills:

- Ask and answer questions about film.

- Talk about favourite kinds of music.

- Express attitudes, preferences

3 Attitude:

- Help the students know more about their responsibility

4 Students’ competence:

- Enthusiastic with class activities

II Teaching aids

1 Teacher: Textbook “Tieng Anh 10”, projector, board, speaker.

2 Students: textbook, notebook

III Anticipated problems:

- Misunderstanding or incomprehension about what the teacher says

in English

 Explain by Vietnamese (if necessary), or call other students to explain

- The unfocused on the lesson

 The teacher should speak louder, call the student’s attention by the tone of voice, small funny stories…

in each number You have to choose a number and guess the name and kind

of film Only 1 of 6 questions is

“Lucky number” If you choose

“Lucky number” or you give the right answer, you will get a small gift.

Question 1: Titanic (love story film)

 Show poster Question 2: Frozen (Nữ hoàng băng giá) – cartoon

 Show poster Question 3: Avatar (Thế thân) - science fiction

 Show video Question 4: LUCKY NUMBER Question 5: Home alone (Ở nhà một mình) – comedy

 Show video Question 6: The Ring (Vòng tròn oan nghiệt) – Horror film

Pre – Speaking

 Lead – in:

- “Can you guess the lesson today?

Today we will talk about some kinds

of films Let’s write down the title into your notebooks.

- Writes the title on the board.

 Before speaking:

- “Can you tell me kinds of film you

know?”

- Asks ss read aloud and write down

into their notebooks

Task 1:

- Calls ss read the requirement.

- Shows example on power point.

- Asks ss do task 1 quickly in 1 minute.

- Asks ss to answer the questions “Do

you like ?/How much do you like ?”

- Corrects the pronunciation, grammar

if necessary

- Guess the

- Asks the whole class to read aloud
