UNIT 10 : HEALTH AND HYGIENE

A PERSONAL HYGIENE (A1)

I Objectives

1 Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:

a Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss understand the personal hygiene, know more about Hoa’s life

- Vocabulary: harvest, helpful, iron, stay up late, take exercise

- Grammar: present and past simple tenses.

b Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing

c Attitude: Ss understand the personal hygiene, know more about Hoa’s life.

2 Capacity is formed and developed for students

- Self-learning capability

- Communicative competence

- Cooperation capacity

II Preparation

1 Teacher: lesson plane, book, color chalks, pictures, cassette and tape

1 Warm up (5’) *Chatting.

- T asks Ss some questions to remind some

information about Hoa

- T corrects and gives feedback

1- Do you remember Hoa?

2- Where is she from?

3- Where does she live now?

4- Who does she live with?

5- Where do her parents live?

2 Knowledge formation activities (36’)

- T introduces the letter and elicits some new

words

- T explains them by explanation and reads model

- Ss losten and repeat

- T asks Ss to read in front of the class cloudly

- T checks pronunciation

- Ss listen and copy

write a letter to Mom
