Unit 1: A Summer Camp Lesson 3

I Objectives :

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

- Ask and answer question about where someone’s nationality

- Develop listening skill

II Preparations : Lesson plan , projector, pictures, tape

III Procedures :

1 Warm up:(5’)

- Ask pupils to play country bingo

2 Presentation: (10’)

- Introduce the structure:

What’s his/her nationality ?

He’s/She’s + tên quốc tịch

Ex: What’s her nationality ?

She’s Vietnamese

3.Practice :(15’)

a Practice 1:

- Ask pupils to open their book

- Play the tape again and ask pupils to

repeat after the tape

- Play the tape again and ask pupils to

listen and repeat in groups One group

repeat Zack part, the other Lawan’s part

- Check to make sure pupils understand

the dialogue

-Have whole class repeat after the tape

one more time

b Practice 2:

- Show the pictures and ask pupils to use

the structures Ask and answer the

question about Zack, Lawan, Sam, Azmi

Ex: What’s her nationality ?

She’s Vietnamese

4 Production:(5’)

- Teacher ask and pupils answer about

someone’s nationality

5 Homework:(5’)

- Learn by heart vocabulary

- Prepare the next lesson

- Play the game

- Copy down

-Turn their book to page 10

I Objectives :

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

- Ask and answer question about where someone’s nationality

II Preparations : Lesson plan , projector, pictures, tape

III Procedures :

1 Warm up:(5’)

-Ask pupils some questions about summer camp

2 Presentation: (10’)

- New words:

National Park

Camper

Hiking

Display

-T say aloud and stop for pupils repaet after the

words

-Have whole class read aloud these new words one

more time

3.Practice :(10’)

a Practice 1: look , listen and repeat

- Ask pupils to open their book

- T read the paragraph for pupils listen

- Help when they face on difficult words

-Devide class into 2 groups to turn read the sentences

until the end of paragraph

+ Tick T(True) or F(False)

1 the summer camp was in Thailand

2 Zack was from the UK

3 Sam was from the USA

4 The campers had a cultural display

5 They told stories and sang song from different

countries

- Check if pupils understand the task

- Get pupils to read all the sentences in Task a and tell
